Last Updated: December 23, 2025PiggyLearn is a financial education simulation app designed to teach children about money management. All currency, transactions, and banking activities within the app are entirely virtual and fictional. No real money is involved at any point.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PiggyLearn ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and PiggyLearn ("we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the App and any related services.
2. Description of Service
PiggyLearn is a financial education simulation application that provides:
- Handle, store, or transfer real money
- Connect to real bank accounts
- Process real financial transactions
- Provide financial advice or investment services
- Store any real banking or financial credentials
3. Account Registration
3.1 Adult Accounts
To create an account, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
3.2 Child Accounts
Parents or legal guardians may create accounts for their children. By creating a child account, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and consent to their use of the App under your supervision.
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Free and Premium Tiers
PiggyLearn offers both free and premium subscription tiers. The free tier provides basic educational features, while Premium unlocks additional simulation features.
4.2 Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings
4.3 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.
5. Permitted Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose: educational simulation of financial concepts for families. You agree NOT to:
- Use the App to manage or track real money or real financial accounts
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
6. Virtual Currency Disclaimer
All "money," "currency," "balances," and "transactions" within PiggyLearn are purely virtual and have no real-world monetary value. Virtual currency in the App:
- Cannot be exchanged for real money
- Cannot be transferred outside the App
- Has no cash value whatsoever
- Is used solely for educational simulation purposes
- Can be freely created, edited, or deleted by users at any time
7. Intellectual Property
The App and all content, features, and functionality are owned by PiggyLearn and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
PiggyLearn is an educational tool and does not provide professional financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Consult qualified professionals for such matters.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIGGYLEARN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PiggyLearn and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
